Emergency respite providers (UK)

Nine UK providers covering live-in respite, residential respite, charity homes and Shared Lives. We list who publishes rates openly, who takes same-week admissions, and where each is concentrated. We do not take referral fees and we do not sell leads.

The short answer. Three live-in providers publish weekly rates (Helping Hands, Oath, Hometouch). Five residential groups quote per home (Care UK, Barchester, Runwood, HC-One, Anchor). Shared Lives Plus is funded by commissioners (council or NHS). For a same-week residential vacancy, call 3 to 5 homes directly using the carehome.co.uk filter. For a same-week live-in placement, Helping Hands has the broadest UK branch network.
